जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तरकाशी के डुण्डा क्षेत्र में 25 किलोवाट की पिरुल आधारित बिजली परियोजना शुरू की गई है, जिससे उत्पादित बिजली ₹7.54 प्रति यूनिट की दर से यूपीसीएल को दी जा रही है। बताया गया कि इस पहल से जहां पिरुल का उपयोग बढ़ा है, वहीं यह ग्रामीणों के लिए आय का सशक्त साधन बन गया है।

According to information, a 25 kW pine-needle (pirul) based power project has been started in the Dunda area of Uttarkashi, and the electricity produced is being supplied to UPCL at a rate of ₹7.54 per unit.
