जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तराखण्ड के पौड़ी गढ़वाल जिले में कीवी की खेती अब लोगों के लिए रोजगार का अच्छा जरिया बन रही है। बताया गया है कि बिरोंखाल ब्लॉक के कुंजोली गांव में दो भाइयों ने बंजर जमीन पर कीवी का बगीचा लगाकर अच्छी आमदनी शुरू की है, जिससे स्थानीय महिलाओं को भी काम मिल रहा है और अब यह क्षेत्र धीरे-धीरे कीवी हब बनता जा रहा है।
