हरिद्वार के आबादी क्षेत्र में हाथी की दस्तक से हड़कंप मच गया। बुधवार सुबह तड़के एक टस्कर हाथी रास्ता भटक कर ज्वालापुर क्षेत्र में कोतवाली रोड से होते हुए आर्य नगर चौक की तरफ निकल पड़ा। हाथी को देख लोगों में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। हाथी को देखते ही लोग इधर-उधर भागने लगे। ग्रामीणों ने इसकी सूचना वन विभाग को दी। वन विभाग ने मौके पर पहुंचकर हाथी को जंगल की ओर खदेड़ा।

The knocking of the elephant created a stir in the populated area of Haridwar. Early on Wednesday morning, a tusker elephant lost its way and went towards Arya Nagar Chowk via Kotwali Road in the Jwalapur area. There was panic among the people after seeing the elephant. As soon as they saw the elephant, people started running here and there. The villagers informed the forest department about this. The forest department reached the spot and chased the elephant towards the forest.
