चुनाव आयोग ने सात विधानसभा सीटों को धनबल के इस्तेमाल की प्रबल संभावना मानते हुए चिन्हित किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि इनमे कुमांऊ की सितारगंज, काशीपुर, बाजपुर, हल्द्वानी और लालकुंआ सीट शामिल है। जबकि गढ़वाल मंडल की चकराता व हरिद्वार सीट शामिल है। इन हाई प्रोफाइल सात विधानसभा सीटों पर चुनाव जीतने के लिए प्रत्याशी पैसे का खेल कर सकते हैं।

The Election Commission has identified seven assembly seats considering there is a strong possibility of using money power. He said that these include Sitarganj, Kashipur, Bajpur, Haldwani, and Lalkua seats of Kumaon. Whereas Chakrata and Haridwar seats of the Garhwal division are included. Candidates can play money games to win elections in these high-profile seven assembly seats.
