Elderly woman’s body recovered in Bageshwar district, signs of leopard attack found

According to reports, in Chhati village of the Mankot area in Bageshwar district, a wave of panic spread after an elderly woman, Devki Devi, went to the forest to help put out a fire and later went missing. During the search, her body was recovered from the forest, and the initial probe found clear signs of a leopard attack on her body.
