शिक्षा मंत्री डाॅ0 धन सिंह रावत ने विद्यालयी शिक्षा एवं उच्च शिक्षा के अंतर्गत संचालित खेल गतिविधियों को लेकर समीक्षा बैठक ली। जिसमें खेलों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए शिक्षा एवं खेल विभाग द्वारा एक संयुक्त खेल कैलेंडर तैयार करने का निर्णय लिया गया, जिस हेतु एक पांच सदस्यीय कमेटी का गठन किया गया, जो अपनी रिपोर्ट एक माह के भीतर शासन को सौपेगी। इसके अलावा उन्होंने खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग को सभी 95 ब्लॉकों में मिनी स्टेडियम एवं खेल मैदान बनाने के निर्देश दिये।

Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat took a review meeting regarding sports activities conducted under school education and higher education. In which, to promote sports, it was decided by the Education and Sports Department to prepare a joint sports calendar, for which a five-member committee was formed, which will submit its report to the government within a month. Apart from this, he instructed the Sports and Youth Welfare Department to build mini stadiums and sports grounds in all 95 blocks.
