पिथौरागढ़ और उत्तरकाशी जनपद में भूकंप के झटके महसूस किये गये हैं। भूकंप के झटके महसूस होने से लोग अपने घरों से बाहर निकल आए, किसी भी प्रकार की जनहानि की कोई सूचना अभी तक नहीं है। पिथौरागढ़ जिला भूकंप की दृष्टि से जोन फाइव में आता है। इससे पहले भी पांच दिसम्बर को उत्तरकाशी और टिहरी जिले में देर रात्रि भूकंप के झटके महसूस किये गये थे।

Tremors were felt in Pithoragarh and Uttarkashi districts. People came out of their homes after feeling the tremors of the earthquake, there is no report of any casualty so far. Pithoragarh district comes in zone five from the point of view of earthquake. Earlier also on December 5, tremors of earthquake were felt in Uttarkashi and Tehri districts late at night.
