उत्तरकाशी के मोरी ब्लॉक में शुक्रवार सुबह करीब 11 बजकर 56 मिनट पर भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए। मोरी के आसपास के क्षेत्रों में भूकंप के झटके महसूस होते ही लोग अपने घरों को छोड़ बाहर निकल आए। रिक्टर पैमाने पर भूकंप की तीव्रता 3.0 रही। भूकंप का केंद्र मोरी तहसील के सिंगतूर वन क्षेत्र के पास बताया गया है। हालांकि अभी तक किसी भी प्रकार की हानि की कोई सूचना नहीं मिली है।
