जानकारी के अनुसार, बागेश्वर जिले में शनिवार सुबह 4ः56 बजे 2.5 तीव्रता का हल्का भूकंप दर्ज किया गया, जिसका केंद्र क्षेत्र में लगभग 5 किलोमीटर की गहराई पर था। बताया गया कि झटके महसूस होते ही लोग घबराकर घरों से बाहर निकल आए, जिससे कुछ समय के लिए दहशत का माहौल बन गया। हालांकि किसी भी प्रकार के जान-माल के नुकसान की कोई सूचना नहीं है।
