Drug smuggler arrested with hashish worth Rs 1.37 lakh

Under the drug-free campaign, the Almora District Police Team arrested a smuggler smuggling 689 grams of hashish worth about 1.37 lakh rupees in an Alto car. The accused had illegally made hashish in the village and was taking it to Haldwani, where he was trying to make a profit by selling it at high prices.
