23 अप्रैल, 2025 को सेलाकुई में एक तेज रफ्तार गाड़ी ने कई स्कूली छात्राओं और राहगीरों को घायल कर दिया था। इस घटना में 16 वर्षीय अनुष्का रावत भी घायल हुई थी, जिनका इलाज के दौरान निधन हो गया। देहरादून पुलिस ने इस मामले में आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
