Document verification made mandatory before issuing driving licences in Dehradun

In Dehradun, document verification has now been made mandatory for residents from other states before obtaining a driving licence. This decision, taken in the wake of the Delhi blast for security reasons, requires applicants to undergo police verification and provide a certificate from their workplace.
