Direct flights between India and China resume after five years

For the first time in five years, air connectivity between India and China has been restored. On Oct 26, IndiGo Airlines launched the first non-stop flight from Kolkata to Guangzhou, while China will start its own services from Nov 9. This initiative is expected to boost trade, tourism, people-to-people relations between both countries.
