बीते दिन चम्पावत जिले में हुए सड़क हादसे में 14 लोगों की मौत हो गई थी। डीआईजी इस मामले में अब सख्त नजर आ रहे हैं। डीआईजी ने बताया कि सड़क हादसों को रोकने के लिए पुलिस द्वारा ठोस कदम उठाए जायेंगे। उन्होंने कहा बैरियर पर सख्ती से चैकिंग की जाएगी। पुलिस अधिकारियों को कहा गया है कि ओवरलोड गाड़ियों पर तत्काल कार्यवाही करें। साथ ही उन जगहों को चिन्हित किया जा रहा है, जो डेंजर जोन है।
