बीते दिन पुलिस उपाधीक्षक चमोली श्री धन सिंह तोमर महोदय द्वारा कोतवाली जोशीमठ में मानसून सीजन में संभावित आपदा के दृष्टिगत आपदा उपकरणों की कार्यशीलता का भौतिक निरीक्षण किया गया व आपदा उपकरणों की देख-रेख कर तैयारी हालत में रखने व पुलिस बल को अलर्ट मोड में रहने के निर्देश दिए गए। इस दौरान थाने में मौजूद सभी पुलिसकर्मियों को आपदा संबंधी प्रशिक्षण भी प्रदान किया गया।
