मूल रूप से बागेश्वर जिले की रहने वाली भावना टाकुली ने फेंसिंग चैंपियनशिप यानी तलवारबाजी के कैडेट वर्ग में सिल्वर मेडल हासिल कर पूरे प्रदेश का मान बढ़ाया है। भावना टाकुली वर्तमान में राजधानी देहरादून में अपने परिवार के साथ रहती हैं। जो अभी सोशल बलूनी स्कूल की कक्षा ग्यारहवीं की छात्रा हैं। इस शानदार उपलब्धि के बाद से भावना को बधाई देने वालों का तांता लगा हुआ है।

Bhavna Takuli, originally from Bageshwar district, has brought pride to the entire state by winning a silver medal in the cadet category of fencing championship. Bhavna Takuli currently lives with her family in the capital Dehradun. She is currently a student of class 11th at Social Baluni School.
