देहरादून नगर निगम ने मानसून से पहले 46 प्रमुख नदियों और नालों की सफाई कर करीब 17,000 मेट्रिक टन कचरा हटाया है। नगर आयुक्त नमामी बंसल ने बताया कि जलभराव रोकने के लिए कंट्रोल रूम सक्रिय कर दिया गया है और पंपिंग मशीनों के साथ सुपरवाइज़र भी तैनात किए गए हैं। नालों पर अतिक्रमण करने वालों के खिलाफ भी कार्रवाई जारी है।

Ahead of the monsoon, Dehradun Municipal Corporation has removed over 17,000 metric tons of waste from 46 major rivers and drains in the city. Municipal Commissioner Namami Bansal stated that a control room has been activated to prevent waterlogging, and supervisors equipped with pumping machines have been deployed.
