जानकारी के अनुसार, देहरादून शहर का एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स 100 के पार पहुंचकर खराब श्रेणी में दर्ज किया गया है। विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार कम बारिश, कोहरा और ठंडी हवाओं की कमी के कारण प्रदूषण कण निचले स्तर पर ही जमे हुए हैं, जिससे हवा साफ नहीं हो पा रही है। इसमें आईएसबीटी, पटेल नगर, हरिद्वार रोड जैसे क्षेत्र सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित हैं।

According to reports, the Air Quality Index of Dehradun has crossed 100 and is now categorized as poor. Experts say that due to low rainfall, fog, and a lack of cold winds, pollution particles remain trapped near the surface, preventing the air from clearing. Areas like ISBT, Patel Nagar, and Haridwar Road are among the worst affected.
