सोमवार को रक्षा मंत्री ने ट्वीट करके जानकारी दी है कि वे कोरोना से संक्रमित हो गए हैं। इस समय वे होम क्वारंटाइन हैं। उन्होंने कहा है कि जो भी मेरे सम्पर्क में आया है, वे सभी लोग अपना टेस्ट करायें और खुद को आइसोलेट रखें। बीते 6 जनवरी को राजनाथ सिंह उत्तरकाशी में विजय संकल्प रैली के चलते लोगों को संबोधिति करने आए थे।

He has said that whoever has come in contact with me, all those people should get themselves tested and keep themselves isolated. On January 6, Rajnath Singh had come to Uttarkashi to address the people on account of the Vijay Sankalp rally.
