Decision taken to increase wage rates under the chairmanship of CM Dhami

In the first meeting of the Jail Development Board held at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of CM Dhami, it was decided to increase the minimum wage rates of prisoners employed in labor in prisons. In the meeting, it was decided to increase the daily wages for skilled from ₹67 to ₹85, for semi-skilled from ₹52 to ₹65 and for unskilled from ₹44 to ₹55. In the meeting, it was also decided to establish bakery units in all the prisons of the state.
