खबरों के अनुसार, चक्रवात ‘दितवाह’ ने श्रीलंका में भारी तबाही मचाई है, जिसमें 70 से अधिक लोगों की मौत और हज़ारों लोग प्रभावित बताए जा रहे हैं। तेज हवाओं, भारी बारिश और भूस्खलन से कई इलाकों में हालात गंभीर भी बने हुए हैं। वहीं, भारत ने मदद का हाथ बढ़ाते हुए ‘ऑपरेशन सागर बंधु’ के तहत श्रीलंका को 12 टन मानवीय सहायता भेजी है।
