सतपाल महाराज के बयान से वे विवादों में घिर गए हैं। वर्चुअल सभा को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा उत्तराखण्ड वीरों की भूमि है। यहां हर परिवार से कोई न कोई सेना में है। लेकिन इसके बाद सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड के कुछ गांव ऐसे भी हैं, जहां से अगर कोई सेना में नहीं जाता है तो उस पर देवता का दोष लग जाता है। इस प्रकार के बयान से विवाद उत्तपन्न हो गया है।
