Congress won the Badrinath seat

After the Mangalore seat, now Congress has captured the Badrinath assembly seat as well. Congress candidate Lakhpat Singh Butola has defeated BJP candidate Rajendra Singh Bhandari by 5224 votes. There is an atmosphere of celebration among Congress workers after the victory in the by-election.
