Cold intensifies in North India, mountains covered in a blanket of snow

Cold has gripped North India. While snowfall in the hilly regions of Himachal, Uttarakhand, and Jammu & Kashmir has led to a sharp drop in temperature, Badrinath, Kedarnath, and Auli are covered in a blanket of snow. The IMD has predicted that the cold will intensify further in the coming days, with temperatures likely to dip below 10°C.
