सीएम धामी ने बीते दिन रामपुर तिराहा मुजफ्फरनगर स्थित शहीद स्थल में राज्य निर्माण आंदोलन के शहीदों की पुण्य स्मृति में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में शहीद आंदोलनकारियों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। इस दौरान उन्होंने शहीद स्थल के लिए अपनी भूमि दान करने वाले दिवंगत महावीर शर्मा की स्मृति में शहीद स्थल पर उनकी प्रतिमा स्थापित किए जाने की घोषणा की।
