कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में आई महिलाओं ने सीएम को राखी बांधी तथा तथा उनके दीर्घ जीवन की कामना की। सीएम धामी ने कार्यक्रम में सभी को रक्षाबन्धन की बधाई देते हुए कहा कि इस बार रक्षाबन्धन का यह पर्व हमारे लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है, इस बार हम आजादी की 75वीं वर्षगांठ पर पूरे देश में अमृत महोत्सव भी मना रहे हैं। यह समय देश की आजादी के लिये अपना सर्वस्व न्यौछावर करने वाले ज्ञात एवं अज्ञात सैनानियों के साहस एवं वीरता से परिचित होने एवं उनको स्मरण करने का भी है।
