सीएम धामी ने बीते दिन हरेला पर्व के मौके पर स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज, देहरादून के निकट वन विभाग द्वारा आयोजित पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने प्रदेशवासियों को पर्यावरण संरक्षण को संस्कृति से जोड़ने वाले पारंपरिक लोक पर्व हरेला की शुभकामनाएं दी। सीएम ने कहा कि हरेला पर्व के तहत एक माह तक पौधरोपण अभियान चलाया जाएगा। प्रत्येक जिलों में नदियों, जल स्रोतों एवं गदेरों के पुनर्जीवन एवं संरक्षण की थीम पर कार्य किए जाएंगे।

CM Dhami participated in the plantation program organized by the Forest Department near Sports College, Dehradun on the occasion of Harela festival on the previous day. During this, he greeted the people of the state during the traditional folk festival Harela, which connects environmental protection with culture. The CM said that under the Harela festival, a plantation campaign would be carried out for a month. In each of the districts, work will be done on the theme of rejuvenation and conservation of rivers, water sources, and silts.
