दिल्ली में म्येरू पहाड़ फाउण्डेशन द्वारा उत्तराखण्ड में सर्वप्रथम समान नागरिक संहिता कानून (यूसीसी) पारित होने पर आयोजित अभिनन्दन समारोह में सीएम धामी सम्मिलित हुए। उन्होंने कहा कि यह कानून महिलाओं के सम्मान और प्रत्येक नागरिक की सुरक्षा की गारंटी है। इस कानून के माध्यम से समाज में व्याप्त अनेकों कुप्रथाओं का अंत होगा और प्रदेशवासियों को समान अधिकार प्राप्त होंगे।

CM Dhami attended the felicitation ceremony organized by Myeru Pahad Foundation in Delhi on the passing of the first Uniform Civil Code (UCC) law in Uttarakhand. He said that through this law, many bad practices prevalent in the society will end and the people of the state will get equal rights.
