सीएम धामी ने बीते दिन शहीद दिवस के अवसर पर गांधी पार्क, देहरादून स्थित शहीद स्मारक पर पुष्प चक्र अर्पित कर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दी। उन्होंने भूतपूर्व सैनिकों, वीरांगनाओं को शॉल ओढ़ाकर एवं स्मृति चिन्ह देकर सम्मानित किया। सीएम ने घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश में शहीद द्वार/स्मारकों के निर्माण अब सैनिक कल्याण विभाग के माध्यम से होंगे, पहले यह कार्य संस्कृति विभाग से करवाए जाते थे।

On the last day, CM Dhami paid tribute to the martyrs on the occasion of Martyr's Day by offering a wreath at the Martyr's Memorial at Gandhi Park, Dehradun. CM announced that the construction of martyr gates/memorials in the state will now be done through the Sainik Welfare Department, earlier this work was done by the Culture Department.
