सीएम धामी ने बीते दिन क्लेमेंट टाउन स्थित ग्राफिक एरा विश्वविद्यालय में 6वें आपदा प्रबंधन वैश्विक सम्मेलन का दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर शुभारंभ किया। 28 नवम्बर से 01 दिसम्बर 2023 तक होने वाले इस सम्मेलन में अनेक देशों के विशेषज्ञ और वैज्ञानिक प्रतिभाग कर रहे हैं। इस अवसर पर सीएम ने कहा कि इस सम्मेलन का प्राथमिक उद्देश्य हिमालयी पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र और समुदायों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए जलवायु परिवर्तन और आपदा प्रतिरोध की चुनौतियों पर चर्चा करना एवं उनका समाधान करना है।

CM Dhami yesterday inaugurated the 6th Disaster Management Global Conference by lighting the lamp at Graphic Era University located in Clement Town. Experts and scientists from many countries are participating in this conference to be held from 28 November to 01 December 2023. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the primary objective of this conference is to discuss and address the challenges of climate change and disaster resilience with a focus on the Himalayan ecosystem and communities.
