सीएम धामी ने चम्पावत के मौनकाण्डे स्थित प्राइमरी स्कूल में छत गिरने से हुई छात्र की मृत्यु पर शोक व्यक्त करते हुए घटना की मजिस्ट्रियल जांच के साथ ही मृतक के परिजनों को सीएम राहत कोष से ₹2 लाख की सहायता राशि देने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने प्रदेश के सभी सरकारी स्कूल भवनों का निरीक्षण कर जरूरत अनुसार मरम्मत के निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि कक्षाएं पूरी तरह से सुरक्षित भवनों में ही संचालित हो।

Condoling the death of a student who collapsed in the primary school at Maunkande, Champawat, CM Dhami has directed a magisterial inquiry into the incident as well as an assistance of ₹ 2 lakh from the CM Relief Fund to the kin of the deceased. He inspected all the government school buildings of the state and directed for repairs as per the need and said that it should be ensured that classes are conducted in completely safe buildings.
