पौड़ी जिले के श्रीनगर स्थित कमलेश्वर महादेव मंदिर में बैकुंठ चतुर्दशी पर्व पर निसंतान दंपत्तियों ने रात भर हाथ में दीया लेकर भगवान शिव का जप करते हुए संतान फल प्राप्ति की कामना की। खड़ा दीया अनुष्ठान के नाम से प्रचलित आस्था के इस यज्ञ में देश के विभिन्न राज्यों के 176 निःसंतान दंपत्तियों सहित एक विदेशी जोडे़ ने भी प्रतिभाग किया।

On the occasion of Baikunth Chaturdashi festival, childless couples prayed for a child by chanting Lord Shiva's name with diya in their hands throughout night at Kamleshwar Mahadev temple in Srinagar. In this yagya of faith, popularly known as Khada Diya Anushthan, 176 childless couples from different states of the country and a foreign couple also participated.
