खबर के अनुसार, उधम सिंह नगर के किच्छा क्षेत्र में बाल विवाह का मामला सामने आया है। बताया गया कि सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस गांव पहुंची और दस्तावेजों से नाबालिग की उम्र 15 साल 11 माह होने की पुष्टि होते ही जयमाला से पहले ही शादी की रस्में रुकवा दी गईं और बारात को वापस लौटाया गया, जबकि किशोरी को संरक्षण में लेकर वन स्टॉप सेंटर भेज दिया गया।

According to reports, a case of child marriage surfaced in the Kichha area of Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. It was stated that the police reached the village and, once documents confirmed the minor’s age as 15 years and 11 months, the wedding rituals were stopped before the garland ceremony and the wedding procession was sent back.
