जनपद चंपावत पुलिस द्वारा शादी समारोह में शामिल होने आए 03 वर्षीय बच्चा जो कि शारदा नदी में गिर गया, इस हड़बड़ाहट में पास में मौजूद एक व्यक्ति भी तेज पानी में कूद गया जिन्हें तैरना नहीं आता था, जिसे स्थानीय पुलिस तथा जल पुलिस के जवानों द्वारा सकुशल रेस्क्यू कर तत्काल पानी से बाहर निकाला गया।

Champawat Police rescued a 3-year-old child who had come to attend a wedding ceremony, who fell into the Sharda river. In the panic, a person present nearby who did not know how to swim also jumped into the fast flowing water. They were safely rescued by the local police and water police personnel.
