मुख्य सचिव श्रीमती राधा रतूड़ी ने सचिवालय में उत्तराखण्ड प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड की बैठक में खतरनाक अपशिष्ट प्रबन्धन के तहत ऐसे लोगों के लिए कौशल विकास एवं जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं जो खतरनाक अपशिष्ट की हैंडलिंग, रिसाईकिलिंग व प्री प्रोसेसिंग के कार्यों को करते हैं। उन्होंने  संभावित खतरनाक अपशिष्ट दूषित स्थलों के आंकलन के भी निर्देश दिए।
