Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu ji today visited Raithal village of Uttarkashi district.

Located in the Dayara Bugyal region, this village is famous for its natural herbs and wildlife. Many tourists interested in trekking are dragging towards this village. Keeping this in mind, he made a special emphasis on increasing tourism activities in and around Raithal village. He listened to the problems of the villagers and advised for tourism development. He also inspired locals to promote homestay in the area.
