मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस.एस. संधु ने बीते दिन सचिवालय में पर्यटन विभाग द्वारा संचालित विभिन्न योजनाओं एवं गतिविधियों की समीक्षा करते हुए प्रदेश में पर्यटन की आर्थिकी को मजबूत करने के लिए एक महत्त्वपूर्ण स्रोत बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि राफ्टिंग और कयाकिंग के लिए सर्वे करवा कर नए स्थानों का चिन्हीकरण कर राफ्टिंग और कयाकिंग को बढ़ावा दिया जाए।

Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu while reviewing the various schemes and activities conducted by the tourism department at the secretariat, described tourism as an important source to strengthen the economy of the state. He said that rafting and kayaking should be promoted by identifying new places by conducting a survey for rafting and kayaking.
