बीते दिन मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस. एस. संधु ने सचिवालय में अधिकारियों/कर्मचारियों की उपस्थिति में ध्वजारोहण करते हुए सभी को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की हार्दिक बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दी। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि प्रत्येक वर्ष स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर हम शहीदों को याद करते हैं, साथ ही उन महापुरूषों को भी याद करते हैं जिन्होंने काफी संघर्ष करते हुए हमें आजादी दिलाई, उनसे हमें प्रेरणा भी मिलती है कि उन लोगों ने हमारे लिए इतना कुछ सहन किया एवं बलिदान दिया।

On the previous day, While hoisting the flag in the presence of officers/staff at the Secretariat, Chief Secretary Dr. S. S. Sandhu extended his warm greetings and best wishes to everyone on Independence Day. The Chief Secretary said that every year on Independence Day, we remember the martyrs, as well as remember those great men who fought a lot and got us freedom, we also get inspiration from them that they had endured so much for us.
