चौखुटिया पुलिस और ऑपरेशन स्माइल टीम ने दो नाबालिग बच्चों को बरेली, उत्तर प्रदेश से सकुशल बरामद किया। मामला 20 नवंबर 2024 को सामने आया, जब एक व्यक्ति ने शिकायत दर्ज कराई कि उनके बेटे और उसके दोस्त ने नाराज होकर घर छोड़ दिया था। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर तुरंत कार्रवाई शुरू की।
