जनपद चमोली से एक ओर बेटी ने यूपीएससी की परीक्षा में 53वीं रैंक हासिल कर जनपद का गौरव बढ़ाया है,  ग्राम बांगड़ी (पट्टी कपीरी) कर्णप्रयाग चमोली की मूल निवासी अरुण गैरोला एवं कुसुम गैरोला की सुपुत्री मुद्रा गैरोला ने इस बार यूपीएससी में 53 वीं रैंक प्राप्त कर आईएएस के लिए चयनित हुई पिछले वर्ष की यूपीएससी परीक्षा में 165 रैंक के साथ आईपीएस हेतु चयनित हुई थी और वर्तमान में आईपीएस ट्रेनिंग अकादमी हैदराबाद में प्रशिक्षण ले रहीं हैं।

Another daughter from district Chamoli has brought pride to the district by securing 53rd rank in the UPSC exam, Mudra Gairola, daughter of Arun Gairola and Kusum Gairola, a native of village Bangdi (Patti Kapiri), Karnprayag Chamoli, has secured 53rd rank in UPSC this time. She is currently undergoing training at IPS Training Academy, Hyderabad.
