जनपद चमोली- चौकी लंगासू कोतवाली कर्णप्रयाग क्षेत्रांतर्गत जयकंडी लंगासू के पास अलकनन्दा नदी में बने एक छोटे से टापू पर गाय का बछडा फंस हुआ था। चमोली पुलिस द्वारा नदी के तेज बहाव के बीचों-बीच उतरकर, कई घंटों के अथक परिश्रम के बाद, रस्सी की सहायता से बछड़े को बांधकर सुरक्षित टापू से बाहर निकाला गया।

बछड़े के लिये देवदूत बनी चमोली पुलिस
