असम से श्री बद्रीनाथ दर्शन को आए 64 वर्षीय बुजुर्ग श्री निपेन्द्र शर्मा बीते दिन श्री हरि दर्शन हेतु लाइन में लगे थे, तभी अचानक बेहोश होकर गिर गए। जिन्हें देख वहाँ ड्यूटी पर नियुक्त होमगार्ड ईश्वरी, व पीआरडी जवान बलवन्त एवं गिरीश ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए तत्काल एसडीआरएफ जवानों की मदद से बिना देरी किए निपेन्द्र शर्मा जी को विवेकानंद चिकित्सालय पहुंचाया गया।
