चमोली पुलिस द्वारा चेकिंग के दौरान वाहन डम्पर को चैक किया तो चालक सन्तोष सिंह पुत्र श्री रोशन सिंह निवासी पोखरी द्वारा अवैध रेता परिवहन करने एवं वाहन सम्बन्धी कोई वैध कागजात न दिखाने पर उक्त वाहन को मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के अंतर्गत कार्यवाही करते हुए सीज किया गया। जबकि यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले 27 वाहन चलाकों के विरूद्ध एमवी एक्ट की विभिन्न धाराओं में चालानी कार्यवाही करते हुए 14500 रू0 से अधिक का संयोजन शुल्क वसूला गया।

Chamoli Police checked the vehicle dumper during checking and found the driver, Santosh Singh, son of Shri Roshan Singh, resident of Pokhri, for illegal sand transportation and not showing any valid documents related to the vehicle. The said vehicle was seized by taking action under the MV Act. While challan action was taken against 27 drivers who violated traffic rules under various sections of the MV Act, a combination fee of more than Rs 14500 was collected.
