CBI takes major action in bribery case in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh

According to report, the CBI has carried out a major operation in a bribery case in the CGST department in Jhansi. It was reported that five people, including an IRS officer, have been arrested for allegedly demanding a bribe of ₹70 lakh in exchange for providing relief in tax-related matters, and questioning of the accused is ongoing.
