बीते दिन पुलिस लाईन बागेश्वर (मालता) के पास देर रात समय लगभग 02ः30 बजे एक अल्टो कार मेहनरबुंगा बाईपास में गिर गई थी जिसमें 4 व्यक्ति सवार थे। चारों  बागेश्वर से रामलीला देखकर घर वापस जा रहे थे अचानक मालता रोड के पास ड्रायवर नियंत्रण खो बैठा और ’कार करीब 200 मीटर नीचे मेहनरबुंगा सड़क में गिर गई। घटना में तीन लोगों की मौत हो गई।

On the previous day, an Alto car fell in the Mehnarbunga bypass near Police Line Bageshwar (Malta) where 4 persons were traveling. The four were going back home after watching Ramlila from Bageshwar, suddenly the driver lost control near Malta Road and the car fell into Mehnarbunga road about 200 meters below. Three people died in the incident.
