बीते दिन बद्रीनाथ राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर खचडू नाले के पास पहाड़ी से सरके कुछ बोल्डरों ने वहां से गुजरती एक कार महिंद्रर मैराजो को क्षतिग्रस्त कर दिया। इस कार में दिल्ली से आया परिवार सवार था जो श्री बद्रीनाथ यात्रा कर लौट रहा था। उसी समय थानाध्यक्ष गोविंदघाट नरेंद्र सिंह व अन्य पुलिसकर्मी ने अपनी जान की परवाह न कर सभी को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला तथा वहाँ से गुजर रहे बाइकर्स की सहायता से गाड़ी को धक्का देकर सुरक्षित स्थान पर पहुंचाया।

On the previous day, some boulders slid from the hill near Khachdu Nallah on the Badrinath National Highway, damaged a car. The car was carrying a family from Delhi who was returning after traveling to Shri Badrinath. At the same time, SHO Govindghat Narendra Singh and other policemen, without caring for their lives, took everyone out safely and with the help of bikers passing by, pushed the car to a safe place.
