अल्मोड़ा पुलिस द्वारा ग्राम प्रहरियों के सहयोग से चौकी मोरनौला क्षेत्र के ग्राम खांकर में अभियान चलाकर लगभग 30 नाली भूमि में भांग की खेती को नष्ट किया गया तथा ग्रामीणों को नशे के दुष्परिणामों की जानकारी देकर भांग की खेती नहीं करने के सम्बन्ध में जागरुक करते हुए नशा रहित जीवन जीने हेतु प्रेरित किया गया।

By running a campaign in village Khankar of Chowki Mornaula area, Almora Police, with the help of village guards, destroyed the cultivation of Cannabis in about 30 Naali lands and by giving information to the villagers about the ill effects of the drug, they made them aware about not cultivating Cannabis.
