Brave soldiers of the army hoisted the tricolor on Mount Jogin 1
The brave men of the Indian Army have achieved great success. An 11-member team of the Army's Second Jat Battalion has hoisted the tricolor on Mount Jogin Ek (6465 meters) of Gangotri Himalaya. Army personnel set up camps for climate adaptation in Harshil, Bhojkhark, and Kedartal. After which, with the help of SAT Expedes Mountaineering Agency, the army personnel started climbing Mount Jogin Ek. On September 26, under the leadership of team leader Major Chandra Kumar, the soldiers successfully climbed the peak at 11:41 a.m.
