विदेश मंत्रालय ने भारतीय नागरिकों को ईरान यात्रा को लेकर सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी है। हाल ही में फर्जी नौकरी और फ्री वीजा के झांसे में कुछ भारतीयों को आपराधिक गिरोहों ने बंधक बनाकर फिरौती मांगी। मंत्रालय ने स्पष्ट किया है कि ईरान में केवल पर्यटन के लिए फ्री वीजा एंट्री है, नौकरी या काम के लिए नहीं।

The Ministry of External Affairs has advised Indian citizens to exercise caution while traveling to Iran. Recently, some Indians were lured with fake job offers and free visas, only to be held hostage by criminal gangs demanding ransom. The ministry clarified that Iran offers free visa entry only for tourism, not for jobs or other work.
