जानकारी के अनुसार, उत्तराखंड सरकार मधुमक्खी पालन को बढ़ावा देकर किसानों को स्वरोजगार से जोड़ रही है। बताया गया है कि उद्यान विभाग द्वारा 40 प्रतिशत सब्सिडी पर मधुमक्खी के बॉक्स दिए जा रहे हैं और किसानों को प्रशिक्षण भी प्रदान किया जा रहा है। वहीं, किसानों का कहना है कि इस योजना से उनकी आय बढ़ रही है।
